I don't have those surnames, but do have family ties to Doneraile. There is a Rootsweb IRL-CORK-MALLOW list on which items for the area from old newspapers are frequently posted. You might find something in the list archives.
Cheers,
Peggy
P. S. Interesting user name; makes me thirsty. :)

Fitzgerald
Hi Peggy,
If you are still searching for Fitzgerald then my Great Grandmother a Mary Ann Fitzgerald born 1828 in Limerick married a James Stretton (in UK?) and had 3 sons and 2 daughters before coming to Sydney, Australia in 1849 on board the St. Vincent as paying passengers.
James died and Mary Ann married a Hebar Garty in 1860 and had 2 daughters, one Florence who married my Granddad James Delaney.
Mary Ann's dad was a Michael Bartholomew Fitzgerald who married an Honoriah Switzer.
The only trace of Michael and Honoriah is from the Griffith Valuations which mentions both as land holders in Limerick.
I am still searching for my Fitzgerald roots.
Best wishes,
Maureen
