My Father was Junior and Senior Assistant Engineer on the Western Prince 161305 from 28-02-1940 until 14-12-1940 when the ship was torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic. Fortunately he survived despite being unable to swim!.
Please does anyone know where i might find any information about this ship.

Not much again...
The Western Prince is shown as a cemetery on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website:

That's because lives were lost when it was sunk. All naval ships sunk in wartime are cemeteries if people lost their lives and were not recovered.
Sadly, our dear friend Ann (alias Ladkyis) passed away on Thursday, 26th. December, 2019.
