Voting Polls in 1802

I was googling around and came upon this https://books.google.com/books?id=nqY...ne&lr=#PPP7,M1 which appears to be the listing of those in Middlesex who could vote in the 1802 elections.

I had some freeholders in the Whitechapel area about this time and thought I would find them in this book but I had no luck. Perhaps someone else will find something in it that helps them.

It's a listing of those who did vote, and indicates the names of the people they voted for - elections were very open in those days!

eg pages 2/3:
ABBOTT, Charles, of Palace yard (first entry) voted for Mannering but did not vote for Byng or Burdett

Well, two in fact: one freeholder and one occupier. I can only aim them in the general direction of the family tree at the moment, so I suspect 'mine' will be the occupier. Thanks for a fascinating link Betsy!

Still is very interesting to look at even if you cannot find rellies. You may be lucky to find the main owner or occupier of an ancestors dwelling though.
