If I wanted to find a marriage prior to 1837 entry in one of the Parishes of Middlesex, such as St.Lukes, or West Smithfield, for e.g. where and how do I contact a Parish Registry Office please?

Hi Lou,
Parish registers for Middlesex (except Westminster) are generally held at a central repository, the London Metropolitan Archives (LMA), which offers a paid research service. Those for the City of London are generally held at Guildhall Library, which does not.
But many parish registers have been filmed by LDS (the Mormon Church), and you can order copies of the films into LDS Family History Centres worldwide, usually at a modest cost, and search through them yourself. For those of us without access to London, this is the standard way to research before 1837. You can check if the registers you want have been filmed by running a Place Search on the LDS Library Catalogue here:
https://www.familysearch.org/eng/Libr...meset_fhlc.asp
You can check the location of LDS Family History Centres worldwide here:

If you already know the church and the exact date of the marriage from an index (perhaps the IGI), it is possible that someone on the forum could help. Can you post more details of exactly what you're after?
