If he died during the war, he'll be in CWGC, on a stone or a monument.

We have a photo of a young man, with what is very likely his father and brother. He is wearing a WWII army uniform. We know of two POW's who died in captivity but don't know if any other in the extended family were in the Army.

Sounds like it's worth at least looking in CWGC.
I've got a photo of a young man in a WW1 uniform , addessed to my Great Aunt. We have no idea who he was - the man she married wasn't in the army!

Hi Lesley. CWGC list only two "Chaboyer" in WWII. Both of which are well documented elsewhere and of whom we have photographs.
