I am currently researching Rachel Widows (maiden name)My gggg grandmother, wife of Samuel Edelsten His stats:b.1755 Warrington, d.10 Feb 1806 bur.St Elphins Church Warrington.
All I have is her name and nothing else. If anyone can help with internet sites etc that would be most helpfull.

I think the Edelstens were responsible for making the first telegraph cable that ran from Britan to France. They were officially "Pin Makers".

Rachael Widows was my gggg grandmother who was born in 1748 in Warrington, daughter of James Widows and Hannah Goodiard. She was baptised on 25/9/1748, married to Samuel Edelsten on 13/8/1775 and died 15/4/1817. She had 8 children.
