Oh yes lots and lots of very interesting articles. The very first Libel case in Australia - still referred to today in parliament and law books. Clontarf Pleasure Gardens was also the place of the attempted assassination of Prince Alfred and a Norfolk pine was planted to mark the spot - still growing. Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney was built as a thankyou for the treatment/care the Prince received.
One of the journalist jailed because the Moore brothers won their Libel case - they were jailed because the journalist's couldn't pay the fine - was Jules Francois Archibald who co-owner and editor of the Bulletin newspaper - ceased production several years ago. He died 1919 and his bequest established the Archibald prize in 1921 - 'regarded as the most important portraiture prize in Australia.' The journalists were released as the fine was paid when the Masonic Lodge raised the funds.

Yes ,I have a copy of the transcript of the court case . William Moore handled himself very well.most police witnesses and individuals clearly respected him and it seems that the whole argument rested on the fact that all society from the top to the bottom were going and the problems were dealt with as best they could , Mr Archibald was ignoring the fact that the creme of society were there and concentrating on a few real incidents with the lower life's that were trouble and dramatizing them for an overly righteous article ,it was a good result except for the payout . It 's surprising that the Masons raised the funds .
