Vincent Johnston NSW

Vincent Johnston was born in 1913 In Manchester. He married Mary? Thompson in 1939 and I think emigrated to NSW in the 1950's.
I know he worked as an electrician in the coalmines in Newcastle and that he died about 1971.
How can I find out more about him and his wife? ie Electoral Rolls or Death certs.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Electoral rolls are not online for the time frame you are looking at.

If you go here you can search for the death certificate reg number and order it online (cheaper than ordering a hard copy).

You may need his parents names to be certain though.

Thank you both.......................Vincents death registration is on your list Hugh so I will try to order a certificate. Mary survived her husband so I do not know when she died. However I am awaiting their marriage certificate which should tell me at least one of her parents names.
It is amazing I have only just (this afternoon) rejoined this site and have had answers to both of my questions within a couple of hours.
