I am interested in any links to the name Pyett and it's derivatives of Pyatt, Pyet,Pyat,Piot,Piet and any other several phonectic ways of spelling the name, I have gone back to c1630 with Pyett's (spelt various ways, even in the same register) so have built up a fair database on the name for east Anglia, mainly Winston, Debenham etc.

Hello Garry and welcome to Brit-Gen
Have a good look round and post your questions on the appropriate boards. I am sure that the members will be able to help you. Perhaps Surname Interests would be the place to start.
Enjoy yourself!

Hi David
Unfortunately garryp is no longer a member of Brit-Gen as indicated by the word "Guest" under their avatar. We do not keep any information about those who are no longer members so they will not receive notification of your post.

Hello Christina
Thanks for letting me know that the person is no longer on Brit-Gen. I suspected it would be a very, very long shot, but if you don't ask you are left wondering.
Don't know about you but we are actually enjoying a couple of sunny days for a change!!
David
