Would the CoE keep records of former church wardens from the late 18th century? If so, what kind of info will they have?

You'll sometimes find odd snippets in parish registers, about who has been appointed a churchwarden or if they have done something in their official capacity. I've also seen some information relating to them amongst parish accounts. As to what survives, a lot depends on the parish in which you are interested - some clergy recorded very little (or at least very little that has survived), others provided a wealth of information which is fascinating to us with our hobby.
