    Default Essex Militia Lists

Hi, would anyone have access to or know where I might access the Essex Militia Lists? I am particularly interested in Wethersfield and the surname Dace.
    Regards
    Andy

    Hi

One of our registrars is looking for evidence of John Alderton, b1805/6, in Essex; refer COURT MARSHALL 1837 LOOKUP; same forum as a thread of mine. [https://www.british-genealogy.com/for...d.php?t=31508].

Did you have any success with the TNA records? Wondering about their on foot performance, if you could help.

    Hi
did you find out anything on the essex militias (a message posted in 2006)?
Im looking at the records for Childerditch in essex and there a soldier with a militia and I'm blowed if I can decipher the name. something like "hanhaydonskins".

Also you might (not) like to know there were a few DACE buried in Childerditch before 1800, which is the fiche I'm look at right now.
    Steven
