Hi
I am trying to trace my family in Avagh in County Cavan. My father, Percival Andrew Richard Dunne (known as Dick) was born on 19/9/1929, married Patrica Fay Afeltranger in 1951 in Surry. He later divorced and married Anne Patrica Clapp of Claygate Surrey. He died in 1982 from cancer. My mother, his first wife, has since died, and I have no details of my father, apart from I think he had a sister Daisy. Also I think his father was William Dunne, landowner and dentist! Does anyone know of a local paper I could write to in Avagh to see if anyone knows anything?
Thanks
Brian

Hello Brian - welcome to the forum.
Have a look at what GENUKI has on County Cavan newspapers.
Good luck!
