can anyone find the above for the name elizabeth mary williams born 1st december 1912 im trying to find her mums maiden name...thanks

I have just had a look on FreeBMD in December quarter 1912 and March quarter 1913 and there are loads of them. They are mainly registered as Elizabeth M rather than Elizabeth Mary.

Any clue as to the location?

Just tried again with Dec 1912 to March 1913 (using the link in my post above) and picked up 9 Elizabeth M Williamses...

Don't worry about GRO references. You simply need to order the certificate quoting the information that you have.

Found them when I ditched the Mary and just put in M.
