    Default disappeared after 1881

    Walter Cliff married Clara Watson in early 1881 and was on the 1881 census, Walter was born in Lancashire, and he was the son of Christopher and Elizabeth Cliff.
    He appears on the censuses 1851 to 1881 and then just disappears along with his wife, any ideas of where he could have got to?

    They were married in the Sheffield Reg Dist, and there was a death in the same district:

    Deaths Sept Qtr 1889 Clara CLIFF, age 29, Vol 9c, Page 311
