If these have been transcribed with one of the names missing, i.e, in 1887 my relative Henry Rich married Ada in Northampton but the partial registers only show 2 men and 1 women, is there a way of finding the missing female??
Thanks!

You might buy a birth certificate for one of their children?

..........or failing that.
A search of the 1881 census transcript for anyone called Ada aged 17 +/- 2 years, born Grendon and living in Northamptonshire gives:
RG11/1543 f67 p10
St.Giles, Northampton
Ada B DARBY, 17, dressmaker
She was living there with a whole lot of family.
She may or many not be your lass. As mntioned before a birth certificate would give you the answer - or of course the marriage certificate using the reference found for Henry.
The 1871 census gives the above Ada's full name: Ada Maria DARBY. Presumably the capital M was written in a similar fashion to B (it can happen) and mayb led to a minor transcription error somewhere along the line.
