Searching for step siblings births

I am searching for my uncles step brothers and sisters, the fathers name was V. Wallace born in 1901 and his wife was G. Furlong. They were married in 1922 in Edmonton, London. I do know one child which is David J.


Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Sue,

For the time frame that you are researching Free BMD includes the mothers surname so it should be fairly easy for you to pick up the births of the siblings.

An issue is that the transcribers are only just getting to these years so you may need to be a little patient.

If anyone is able to assist Sue with details can you please send her PM so a breach of privacy does not occur for any living person.

That's easy. You just search the GRO birth indexes for WALLACE births where the mother's maiden name is shown as FURLONG. Then you obtain the birth certificates to confirm the parentage.

Hi did a search on both FreeBMD and A******y for you but only came up with David J b 1924 as in the post above.

A******y has 2700 records that I looked through from A to W nothing there
