I am trying to find birth details parents etc for Joseph John CONNORS as per details below.
Joseph John Connors was born in 1812 in Tuam Galway, Ireland, Joseph was a convict who arrived at Port Jackson aboard the ship "Eliza II" on the 6th September 1832. The ship had sailed from Cork in Ireland on the 10th May 1832 and was her 4th voyage to Australia transporting convicts. The voyage took 119 days.
Joseph had been tried and convicted of the political crime "Whiteboyism" in Galway in Ireland and sentenced to 14 years transportation. There was a secret sect of Irish farmers, formed about 1761, for the purpose of redressing grievances against landlords, protecting against acts of arson and terrorism. The members wore white shirts for recognition on night raids.
His shipping indent papers give the following details:-

Complexion. Ruddy and pox pitted.
Religion. Catholic.
Could read and write.
