Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Are there any online passenger lists for those travelling from Ireland to Liverpool in the 1840's???

In a word, no! Sorry, but at that time travelling from Ireland to England was like travelling from Scotland to England - it was just travelling within the United Kingdom, so no records were kept.

If the family were Roman Catholic & married in Liverpool, then occasionally the priest put the birth parish down in the church register, rather than where the bride or groom were living at the time of the ceremony.
