    Default Help with cause of discharge.

    Can anyone help decypher a cause of discharge for one Herbert Nicholson 05.12.1918 which reads as follows;

    a.o vi/18. (I'm assuming the a.o stands for Army Orders)
    2B
    S.

    then action taken. List L.C./2594

    I know that Pte Nicholson was originally in the Durham Light Infantry No. 34538, but was 'transfered' to the labour Corps, Northen Command and given the reg no 167008.

    I also know that on his marriage certificate dated 12.12.1917 he is listed as being 22 years of age and that he enlisted on 24.01.1916

    Thanks

    Hi Robbo

    Thanks for that, I've seen a similar list of reasons for discharge, though I'm afraid it doesn't solve my puzzle.
