Hi Everyone! I'm hoping someone may be able to help me track down John Desmond, who I believe was born in New Town, Co. Cork, in 1811. He married Julia Murphy who I think was born in Castle Town, Co. Cork in 1821. I have their Marriage Certificate which says they married in The Belgian Chapel in Southwark, London, in 1845. They are on the 1841,51,61,71,81 England censuses (only Julia is on the 1891 census) which is where I have got their possible dates of birth from. But..........their Marriage Certificate says they were both "Minors" - which I assume would have been under 18. This doesn't fit in with their birth years as they should have been 34 and 24 respectively...........! I'd like to find their Birth Certificates but don't know where to begin.
Does anyone have that information please? I'd be really grateful if someone could help me with this.
Many thanks,
RoseBur
