    Post Baptism - Lashmar

    I have for some time been trying to find a baptism for JAMES LASHMAR(MORE) b. 1775 West Grinstead. This information is from the 1851 Census. I deperately want to try and find his parents and so go back another generation. Is there some one out there who could help me please?

    There is a transcript on CD published by the Parish Register Transcription Society. The Society of Genealogists' library has a copy.

    The Mormons have filmed the registers.

    The registers are at West Sussex Record Office who can supply copies of them on fiche.
