My GG Father Mark Rossiter was there in 1924-1927.
His Step son George Salter took over,

Hello Pat,

Why not contact the publicans themselves? The Crown is still going strong and is a free house. This means that the pub is run (hopefully) by the owner, rather than being a managed house owned by the brewery. They have a website at: https://
crowninnonline.co.uk/ and the owner may have documents going back through history.
