Hi,

I am researching the Barber/Keeley Family who lived in Wingfield.

Solomon Barber married Elizabeth keeley in 1916.

They had 3 Children
Joe, Horace and Olive. There were possibly more.

They may have had a relative refered to as "Darkie" living with them.

I wondered if anyone may have any memories, or connections.

The Barber family used Fressingfield church, which now incorporates Wingfield. When we were there recently we met a male Barber, married to a Baker, who have lived there for generations. He has done a lot of work on his family history and allowed me to photograph some of his family trees but they were for earlier Barber/Barbour.
My wife noted his details in her notebook, but unfortunately has mislaid it (somewhere in the house). We know that he works as a plumber.

Fressingfield was home of the Sancroft family (my middle name). One of them, William, was Archbishop of Canterbury from 1678-1690. He is buried beside the entrance to the church.
