I am researching my fathers family who lived in Abbey Road Erdington around the 1920's My great grandfather was James Percy Upton married to Henrietta Florence Alabaster and they lived at 16 Abbey Road. They had 18 children in all and Henrietta died in 1925 after giving birth to the 18th child. My grandfather Percy James Upton (I think he was known as Jim) lived at 26 Abbey Road with my grandmother Hilda. My father James Edwin was born there. I have only recently found out that my grandfather was one of 18 children and wonder if there are any distant cousins out there? I also understand that after Henrietta died, James married again and had another 2 children but don't know anymore details.
Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks
Jenny
