    Default William Francis Davies hung himself.

    My Great Grandfather William Francis Davies commited suicide by hanging himself in the barn of his farm.PENSARN FARM in Rogerstone in NEWPORT(NR 14 LOCKS) on 4th april 1952 aged 51years.
    We have found it mentioned in weekly paper dated 12th april 1952 "Rogerstone man hanged himself" the verdict was that he took his life while of unsound mind.This is all it says.There is no arcticle of when it happened.
    Does anybody have any memory of this????????
    or know where we can find the Coroners Report????

    This TNA guide to Coroners' Inquests may be of help to you as could also be this book of Coroners' Records.

    The Gwent Archives may also be able to check other local newspapers for you to see if there are any further details.
