I would like a look up for John Jones, 6 Cooper's Ct (off Gt Windmill St) Westminster.
Previous info provided to me from elsewhere stated that John was shown in the 1851 census as being born in Castle, County Kerry, Ireland.
Unfortunately I can find no reference to a place called Castle in Co. Kerry, so wondered if this was transcribed correctly - or does it mean he was born in a castle!!
Could someone please confirm the entry for me. Thanks
Alan

"Castle Ireland"
Possibilities off the top of my head:
1) Try Castleisland - sounds the same. Check the map as my memory of my wanderings is a bit hazy, but I *think* it's in County Kerry.
2) Castlemaine. A young lady I knew many moons ago who lived in Killorglin always referred to this as simply "Castle".
