I am searching for details of my g-g-grandfather who is listed in 1851 census in Veryan Cornwall as a retired chief boatman.
THOMAS THOMAS:
He was born 1790-1793 in St Ives Cornwall
Married Margaret Paynter Harry in 1815 St Ives Cornwall & 3 children born in St Ives to 1828.
Child Richard Harry born Erith Kent 1830.
I believe he was in the coastguard service from approx 1825 -1850.
Can't find references to him or family in 1841 Census
I have been unable to access the pro records from Australia.
Has anyone come across this person in their coastguard searches?
Thanks

Patty, there is a mention of the family here, but not sure if this is where you have already got your information from.

Hope that is of some help.

Genuki Site
Thanks for directing me to the genuki site. The information is what was given from the 1851 census which was my starting point. I'm looking for other references to Thomas (and family) prior to 1854 and linked to the coastguard service.
