No Thorne / Thorn in Parish Registers for Barford St John; Barford St Michael; Shennington. In parish Register for Deddington there is the name Thornet ????. For this name I have two bap's
John s. William & Mary of Kidlington Oxon - Apr 28, 1799
Caroline d. Joseph & Ann Born 2 March - Mar 27, 1797
I also checked the index for the 1871 census Banbury reg. district. No Thorne / Thorn listed.
Oxfordshire family history society, in their index to members interests - 1999 shows two members looking into the name Thorn and 4 members looking into name Thorne. You would have to contact the society to get in contact with these members.

Thanks very much for your time and effort.
Don't think they are mine. It was probably just a long shot but I am glad I can knock it off my list of parishes.
The brothers I want are Richard bap. 21/3/1724, Henry bap. 10/10/1731 and Isaac bap. 25/11/1739 in Denchworth.
Sons of Richard Thorne (Yeoman) and Jane Saunders who married St. Mary Ashbury 12/6/1720. After they had Isaac they went a-wandering.
However, it will be worth getting hold of OFHS. You never know....
Thanks again.
