I am trying to locate some of my family members that went to the US in 1911. How do i find out what happened to my ancestors once they landed in the US.
Maria Allfrey arrived 10th April 1911 on the Merion to Philadelphia Pennsylvania with grandson Alfred Edward George Deller
The address that they put on the ships manifest was
Mrs Geo(possibly) Lyon
419 Rush Avenue? Los Angeles California
Their names were Maria Allfrey and Alfred Geo Ed Deller
Can any one tell me what my next move
should be.Apparently Mrs Geo Lyon was one of Maria Allfrey's daughter from her first marriage.
Her daughters names were
Julia M Burden born around 1862
Ada F Burden born around 1865
Alice M Burden born around 1870
Jane Burden (possible Mary Jane) born around 1873
Edith Burden born around 1876
Ethel Burden born around 1879

Burden name
In answer to your query 2006. I do not know the Deller name as such. However, all the children had BURDEN in their Christian names. (??). Where did this name come from and what area of I assume the UK ? Thank you...Bron
