In the 1960's (approximately), if a woman stayed home to look after the children and somebody asked her occupation, the answer was usually 'housewife'. I remember watching a TV quiz programme a few years ago, when a lady replied 'domestic engineer'. I laughed at the stupidity of this 'posh title' ........ just my opinion of course!

How true...she must have had a strong personality! And.. it wasn't in the days of `supposedly' sexual equality!! But...don't start me off on `that' one!

Oh how 'PC' lol, and what about this, they are no longer 'dinner ladies' but 'midday assistants'. I can see it won't be long before we have 'Police Persons'.
