Hi Karina
To enable us to be of some assistance to you it would help if you gave an idea of dates. In Ireland it is also important to know which county your family resided in. Do you have any other information on the Walkingshaw family - were they Catholic or Protestant? All this will help others to assist you in trying to trace your Irish family.

Hi Paul thanks for your reply. My ex husband was David son of Elizabeth (Louise sister) so your cousin. I lived in Whitehaven for a time and meet Louise and her family as well when we were in Northampton. Since separating from David in 2007 I have not done much more on the family tree.
Thanks karina
