Mailing list Sponsorship

The whole object of the exercise here, is not for British-Genealogy.com to make huge sums by selling advertising, but to help cover the immense costs of the mailing list servers, etc. For the end user, everything is totally free. But the money has to come from somewhere!

Mailing List Sponsorships

Each mailing list can be sponsored.

When a list is sponsored, each message posted out to subscribers has a two line header adverstising your product and web site. Those subscribers who receive the list mail in digest mode, will see it once at the top of each digest.

Something along the lines of:

This mailing list is sponsored by Parish Chest
http://www.parishchest.com/

Sponsoring a mailing list is easy. Just select any mailing list that does not as yet have a sponsor, and post a quick message with your details to:
listcoord@british-genealogy.com

To sponsor a county mailing list ,or a topical mailing list, or a history mailing list for one year costs :

One list: £80

Two lists: £65 each

Three or more lists: £50 each

(plus VAT at 17.5%)

To sponsor one of the popular general mailing lists , such as GEN-Beginners, GEN-Software, etc. for one year costs :

Per list £200.00 (plus VAT at 17.5%)

The minimum period for sponsorship is one year, and may be renewed if you wish, or cancelled at the end of the year. You will be invoiced at the start of each year's sponsorship.

Remember - your advertisement is posted on each mail that is sent out to the subscribers of that mailing list. In a year, that is a huge amount of exposure.
