For those of you, like me, who may have had family events at this church. It saddens me to have to report that demolition of the church began yesterday, following a decision by the Diocese of Ely. The church is to be replaced by a housing development.

Well it appears that the church has gone.
Unbeliveably the Diocese of Ely had not removed the contents of the church. Amongst items retrieved from the rubble were Bibles, Hymn Books and the Visitors Book(1946-1973) - now sadly largely unreadable.
It amazes me that there appears to have been a total lack of concern by the church for the feelings of worshippers in the way this demolition has been handled.
Some people have no respect for anything.
