    Default Laidlaw/Laidley

    Hi, I'm trying to trace Laidlaw/Laidley families. Earliest known ancestor was William Laidley b c 1777 Scotland. he was in Liverpool by 1816 when married hannah Stables.According to census her birth place given as Cumberland hills or Broughton Lancaster! Is anyone out there searching these familes. later generations moved to london and Macclesfield Cheshire.

    Have now found their deaths so could anyone with access to 1861 census check Quarry Street, Much Walton for me please. Thanks

    Thanks. I do have them on earlier census's. It's pre-1837 inf I really need. margaret
