In fact, he took a few photos of Goldsworthy graves there (all we could find anyway) and one of them is brilliant!

The W.H. GOLDSWORTHY name at the bottom ....... this name was not listed in Cornwall F.H.S. transcriptions ....... I found it, when I pulled the long grass away from the bottom of the stone!

If you wish, I can post my transcriptions on here for all which I have, then I can upload the photos of all the graves I have to Photobucket ....... and give you the links?

That is awesome, thanks! They look like some of mine

Any transcriptions and photos would be fantastic, thanks very much. I'll try to find time to visit the graves myself next time I'm home in Cornwall - I haven't really looked much at that side of the family yet, my mum found most of the names I had when she did some research years ago.

Bizarrely, I have 'Bowden' used as a middle name for my grandad on the other side of the family - he was illegitimate and it is suspected that that may have been the surnameof the father...but that's another family mystery thus far!

    Hi Clare,

I'll do this tomorrow, as I've had enough of being on the computer and telephone today.

I'll put the transcriptions, (not a lot) in separate messages, with the relevant link to the photos, (not good ..... just as a *memento* really) and the info to which family they belong to.

The one already mentioned, belongs to the Joseph GOLDSWORTHY who married Mary WINN and all the other names on there, are this couples children.
    Best Wishes,
    Diane

Which is more info than I have, I think, so that's brilliant, thanks.

    Hi Helen,
I'm also researching John Tremaine and Prudence Wearn m 1727 Constantine.
I haven't got any further back with John Tremaine, but think I can trace Prudence back through William Wearn and Christian Jennings, William Wearn and Prudence Edmond, Anthony Wearn and Mary Skinner. I haven't got any further than that though!
I'm descended through John and Prudence's daughter Prudence who is my 5* Great Gmother.

Thank you, it is always nice to find someone who is actually researching the same people (even if it is back in the 1750s)

Could I ask how many children have you found for James Real and Avis Tremayne please?

James Real is my endpoint on this line and John Tremayne and Prudence are my endpoints on the other line. I was not able to take them back any further.

    Regards
    Helen

Also i am having to recheck a daughter of John Moyle And Mary Ann Courage think Eliza bapt 1822 is a neice.
The Harriet Symonds referrred to here is my great grandmother Harriet Ellen Symonds 1893-1977. She was never married to Arthur William Moyle but did marry John Arthur Moyle (1891-1969) in 1915.
Harriet had the following brothers and sisters -
    Elkanah 1881-1950
    John 1882-1901
    Annie Grace 1884-1969
    James Lane 1885-1971
    Emily Jane 1896-1976
    Mary Louise 1900-1951
    Isabella 1894-1975
    Lena 1897-1960.

I think the John Arthur Moyle who married Harriet had a father called John Henry Moyle (1866-1908) who married Elizabeth Matilda Pentecost (1868-?) on 14th February 1889. Perhaps Arthur William Moyle was their son too ? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Diane

Perhaps we are distantly related. I live in Canberra, Australia.

My maiden name was Moyle. I am descended from Stephen Moyle and Alice Teppat.

My father was William Paton Moyle whose father was William George Moyle, whose father was William Moyle. William's father was James Goldsworthy. James was the son of Thomas Moyle who was the son of Stephen Moyle and Alic Teppat.

I have very little information but would be happy to provide what I can.

    Kind regards

    Jenny
