    Question Lovell families

    Hello,

I have a connection to a Charles Lovell in our family, but not sure where yours are from.

I have a Jane Holcombe b 1851...daughter of Charles Holcombe & Honor Clapp...married Charles Lovell at Old Cleave in 1872.

    Any connection????

    Hi Phil

    Be interested in sharing research.

I live in Broadstone, so not far either, although my family came in from Wiltshire and Norfolk via London then Northampton.

    Regards

    Russell

    Hi Russell,
Always interested in sharing research thanks. Have details of Hannah's ancestors back to 1600's in Wimborne area. I have not followed up on any daughters after marriage though but stay only with the Lovell surname. If you would like more information how would you like it communicated to you as could be lengthy? Email maybe? I can't post it to you at present as am out of the country for a while. Although I guess you could pick up something from my son in Parkstone.
    Regards,
    Phil

    Hi Hazel,
I have several Charles but up until the Industrial Revolution nearly all my Lovell's are literally within a few mile radius of Wimborne/Morden, Dorset. After that some moved to the nearest commercial areas like Christchurch or Poole. The later being my home town. We havn't moved far in 400 years!
    Regards. Phil.
