Ottery St Mary Marriage lookup

I'm looking for a marriage record between James Lathrope and Emma Burrow (formerly Hancock) in Ottery St Mary between February 1839 and whenever the 1841 census was done.

Second marriages for both of them. She was born in 1792 & he was born in 1782. She was definitely widowed - presume he was also a widow.

Cant find anything on freeBMD. Does anyone have access to films or microfiche?

If no other leads present themselves, this might be worth considering?

From FreeBMD- On the same page is an entry for an AMY BARROW, very close to your Emma Burrow.

Wouldn't you know it - I couldn't find them coz of spelling

The date fits, and her name was Amy before it became Emma - go figure.

When I can afford it I will get the certificate.
