Help Deciphering Name

Something beginning with Snowd... ? The next letter's an r methink, otherwise I'd say Snowdon...

The end almost seems to be "dred" but I can't find any names finishing with that which seem to fit.

It's terrible writing .....and this is only a possible...but I'm going for Snowden, after looking at the 'e' after the 'p' in the word European

I also think it is Snowden, as the "n" at the end of the name is the same as at the end of "Wilson"

I don't think the first letter is "S" (compare with "Six" & "Sixth"). Could it be an "L", or even a "P"?

The "M" of "Male" is very convoluted - could the third letter be an "m" ?

The writer seems to like ending words with a backward curl.

Gasser has converted me. I can see now how it could be Snowden.

There is a similar e in European. Snowden seems most likely.
