    Default Misconduct Records 1905

    A relative was discharged from the 17th Lancers in 1905 for misconduct whilst in Edinburgh. Where might I find information about this event please?

    Where did you find that information? WO97?

    Would this be following a court martial? If so the research guide for courts martial is here

    Yes WO97 -can't see any reference to court martial -can you be discharged for misconduct without court martial?

    can you be discharged for misconduct without court martial?
    No idea. I was hoping someone would enlighten us. I don't think you'll find out any more unless there was a court martial.
