I'm not sure if anyine will be able to help me but ...... My sister was evacuated to Canada Ottowa & then after completing her education & working for the Government in Ottowa returned during the war to serve in the Uk.
Details of her life in Canada I know but what I forgot to ask her before she died is what were the dates of her vogages. I know she returned on a troop ship as the only girl or may one of the very few. I know she was already in Canada when my father who served with the Camsbridgeshires was on a ship that docked in Halifax before being sent to Singapore
Any suggestions?
You've always been so very helpful

Hello Ann
if you don't have access to pay per view sites such as ancestry and find my past then you are welcome to come back here and give us the details so we can do a search. Alternatively ancestry do have a free library version which may be available at your local library.
