I found a Nathan baker rifleman 267228,2nd/7th Bn. West Yorkshire regiment (prince of Wales own) born Leeds, enlisted Leeds.died of wounds 04/09/1917.
I now think that the this is the son of Simon & Rose BAKER and is the correct Nathan BAKER.
In 1894 there are 2 BAKER boys given the name of Nathan albeit one I also has the name of Maurice

By following both famillies and NATHAN, I find Maurice Nathan registered Jan - Feb 1894 Leeds had a birth date of 22 Nov 1893 and is the son of Israel & Anne BAKER, there are records for him travelling to the US & back!

The other registered July 1894 is likely to be the Nathan BAKER who died of wounds 4 Sept 1917

This link has the following and qualifies that he is the son of Simon & Rose BAKER

    buried Grevillers France

Rose has been confirmed by post 1911 births to be LANDER

    Default Archie Baker

My grandmother Rose Baker Saipe had a brother Archie who according to my mum lived in Buffalo, NY and had son named Mark and maybe a Michael. Rose Baker also had a brother Ivan. I think they all lived in Leeds. Could this be your Archie, we have been trying to find out what happened to him. Thank you!!!

I can also see a marriage 1921 of Archie BAKER to ADA LUDSKI Leeds 9b 1130 both events are recorded on Freebmd.org.uk

Are these details correct for your family?
