    William Hardy but he used Mark to sign the birth certificate

    Is there an X next to Mark...if so it appears your ancestor couldn't sign his name....illiterate

    Ah thank you very much this is the right trail William is my great grand father and Sarah Burgen was my great grandmother. Then Fredrick, Catherine, Selina, John, Edith Were my grandfathers siblings. There was also Horace, Rose, Wilfred, Doris, and Leonard who was my Grand father.
