    Default Just a quick intro

Hi all I'm kel from Western Australia. Have been researching on and off since I was about 16. I have learnt a lot about my ancestors and the roles that some of them have played in founding Western Australia even if they did commit crimes in England I guess I started searching because my mum never knew her dad and my dad had no idea about his family so I thought what the heck and haven't looked back since.

Welcome in, Kelly. I gather that you've already discovered how addictive genealogy can be!
Have a wander around, pick a forum that looks appropriate, and tell us about one of your searches.

Thanks Lesley for your welcome. I must admit I only have time to dabble a little these days as my hands are full with two teenagers and a toddler. I was hooked the moment I started searching all those years ago, when I hit a brick wall I even help my friends research their trees. At the moment though I am drifting from branch to branch to try and occupy myself whilst I have the flu
