Hi!
My grandfather was in the WW1. I have found his medal card and the Reg.nr 138342 Thomas D. Lee
But there is no data on the page or anything.
It seems like he have asked for a replacement of his medals, where can you find these documents?
Anyone that know where RFA 261 B where in the WW1?
Regards
Granddaughter

Welcome to British-Genealogy nardine
I see your grandfather's medal card on ancestry and note that his regimental number is 138343 not 138342
I don't understand all the numbers scribbled on his card but one of our more clued up members will be able to help you with that.
Over 60% of WW1 records were destroyed by bombs in WW11 and as I can't see any for a Thomas D. Lee it seems your grandfather's was amongst them unfortunately.

HI
RFA261/B is not his regiment it refers to the Medal Roll his medals are listed in on page 32195
See- https://www.1914-1918.net/soldiers/campaignmedals.html
Also it seems he was issued replacements on 12/9/63,as you know. I don't think those documents would have been kept.
regards
Robert

According to his medal card as shown on Ancestry, he was a Gunner in the Royal Field Artillery.
