    We are looking for information and/or relatives of Private Harry Fletcher - Lancashire Fusiliers number 50297 - Enlisted on 31 JAN 1917 and was Medically Discharged on 23 SEP 1918, aged 20

    If he was medically discharged, it might be worth looking at the pension records that survived WW1. Many libraries have a subscription to Ancestry for the use of their readers, so ask yours about it.

    I did take a look on ancestry this morning but could only see his medal roll index card so unfortunately it looks as though your blokes records were amongst the 60% plus of WW1 records that were destroyed by bombs in WW11.
