Can anyone help with information about Petty Officer Stoker Harry MARSH, HMS Carlisle, who died in Vladivostok, Siberia in October 1919? Our Parish is researching all 11 of the men on our war memorial who did not return from WW!. Grateful for any background information about his service career, family etc.

Elizabeth Emma Dunham married John Marsh, Jan-Mar 1890, Bridport.
On the 1891 Census Elizabeth and John are living at Bridport Road, Bradpole with a child William, under 1 yr of age.
The death of a John Thomas Marsh, age 34 was recorded Jan- Mar, 1900, at Bridport. The age at death "fits" the John Marsh on the 1891 Census and Elizabeth's status of "widow" on the 1901 Census"dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"
