    Default Millers Butlers Cross, Bishopstone

I'm researching my family tree from the Bishopstone/ Stone/ Butlers Cross areas. Does this name mean anything to anyone?

    Hi

Are you just hoping to make contact with others researching this family or would you like some help researching them?

If you would like some help from our friendly and knowledgeable members you could post what information you have and where you want to take your search.

Either way - welcome to Brit-Gen

    Hi Christina.

I guess the answer is both! I've traced back as far as my 6th Great Grandfather ( I believe i'm barking up the right tree) his name was William Whitbread Miller, born 1702 to a Jane Whitbread who was serving time in jail as a felon, he was her illegitimate child and was cared for by the county. Would love to find out more about this end of the tree if I can. I may need to make a trip to the local area for more info.
