    Smile Janet/Finlay Mackay - Farr

    Hi, I am researching my family tree and trying to find details of a Janet Mackay who married Finlay Mackay in Farr, Sutherland. Any details would be welcome. I don'tknow how many of a family they had, but they did have a son called Alexander who went on to become either a cattle dealer or a farmer.

    Hello Mima,

    I do not envy you researching a Mackay in Sutherland.

    It would be a good idea to post on the Sutherland section of this forum - there are lots of helpful people who keep their eye on it - probably looking for a Mackay descendant too.
