Hi anyone out there can help me find anything about the Levitt family the levitt that i have in my family is liza Levitt who married Henry Walden and lived and died in Christchurch New-Zealand. information regarding her parents etc. She is my great great grandmother on my mothers side.

thankyou - the only info I have is a date of death which is january 4th 1914 she is buried along with her husband Henry Walden - Henry walden came from ?Kew gardens in England. Sorry that it is not much to go by.

From the NZ BMD site using dates 01/01/1914 to 31/2/1914

Eliza Jane Walden age 76 years registration number 1914/1759 so born c 1838.

This also came up. Is this her husband I wonder?

Henry Walden age 79 years registration number 1914/1813. So born c1835

I wonder if Papers Past, the online newspapers, have anything on them.

Now we have a birth date for Eliza the search will be a little easier.

So this looks like the possible arrival of Eliza 2 years before she married Henry Walden.
The girls are not grouped with Henry Levett but he is possibly her father.
