Hello,
Some of my ancestors are of English origin: Frederick Young and Harriett Richards. They were born (Harriett was born in Soberton, Hampshire) and were married in England.
My great-grandfather was born in Titchfield. The family then came to settle in France in 1860, where nine children were born (in Caen, Beuvron en Auge, Normandy). After, all of them lived in Chantilly where boys were stableman, jokey or horse trainer.
Among these, two are returned to settle in England: Edmond Thomas Young (also known as Edward Thomas) who was horse trainer in Findon (Sussex) and Eugene Leon Paul Young who was a jockey.
I'm also trying to find their descendants and then some English cousins.
I make genealogical research for 8 years when I have time between my work and my children.
And as you understand (with my very fluent English ), I live in France.
Best regards
Alicha
